Is it possible to synchronize BITalino with a GPS?

Yes, there are several possibilities, namely:

1) At a software level (if there are no hard requirements in terms of accuracy in the synchronisation) it is possible to do simultaneous recording of BITalino and GPS data using the same software application.

2) At the hardware level, if the GPS has for example a binary digital output, it can be connected to one of the binary digital inputs on BITalino, in which case every time the GPS digital output changes state, such changes are simultaneously recorded by BITalino.

3) Also at the hardware level, it is possible to reprogram the firmware on the BITalino MCU to communicate directly with the GPS via the UART or SPI (preferable in order to preserve the ability to use the Bluetooth interface).
