Ten20 Conductive Paste is a conductive gel is an accessory for use with dry electrodes. It intends to help keep dry electrodes in place and to improve signal quality during the acquisition, and is typically used with Electrocardiography (ECG), Electromyography (ECG), Electroencephalography (EEG), or other electrophysiology sensors in combination with dry electrodes.
For optimal results, we recommend following the steps below when preparing for signal acquisition:
- Gently abrade the skin with an abrasive product, such as the Nuprep® Skin Preparation gel
- Place the gel on the dry electrode (ensure that sufficient gel is placed that the entire electrode contact area is covered)
- Place the electrode on the previously prepare skin surface
- Fixate the electrode using sports tape (or similar tape) to help keeping the electrode in place during the acquisition
After the acquisition, you can remove the sensor and wash the remaining Ten20 paste off with warm water.
