How do I update my Biosignals PRO firmware?

Keeping your Biosignals PRO up to date ensures optimal performance, bug fixes, and compatibility with the latest sensors and features.

For this process you’ll need:

  • 1x Biosignals PRO device (with > 50% battery charge)
  • 1x Windows PC
  • 1x Bluetooth Dongle (e.g., TP-Link UB500)
  • Biosignals Studio software

Update Instructions

Turn your device on, connect the sensor you want to update, and open the Biosignals Studio software.

Select Devices in the sidebar menu to enter the device manager (1). Connect to your device, and open the device settings (2).

Enter the device settings, open the Other Information settings (3) and select Update Firmware (4).

Select the latest firmware version (if multiple are available) from the presented dropdown list and click Update. Follow the instructions in the software.

Important: Do not turn your device off during the update process, as this can interrupt the firmware installation and potentially leave the device in an unusable state.

During the installation process, your device’s status LED will run through a series of blinking sequences (this can take a few seconds). Once completed, it’ll return to a slow blinking light blue status, indicating that your device is now in standby mode and ready to be paired again.

It is also normal to lose connection to the device during the process as it restarts.
