Do BITalino acquisition units and sensors filter my signals?

No, BITalino products acquire the full raw sensor signals. However, the analog front-end of each BITalino sensor conducts minimal signal conditioning in order to narrow down the spectrum of acquirable signals according to sensor and signal-specific characteristics (e.g. frequency bandwidths, gain).

The pre-conditioned analog signal provided from the sensor is not further processed but provided in the raw format.

You can find more information about the analog front-end characteristics in each sensor’s documentation.
